About us
Murphy was my first dog with my own family and she literally saved us.
A neighborhood dog named Mr. Jinx used to walk itself around my
parent’s neighborhood everyday. At some point, Mr. Jinx was joined by
a stray friend on his walks, and the 2 would then enjoy a stroll
around the neighborhood together.
One day, Mr. Jinx and the stray came to visit my parent’s dog, who was
sometimes in a kennel in front of their yard. After that, they all
became friends. And eventually, I met this new stray dog, and seeing
how sweet and ownerless she was, I loaded her in the car one day and
she became the newest member of our family: Murphy.
Murphy was my constant companion. She went everywhere I went, whether
around the house or on car rides, which she loved. She knew I was
pregnant with my first child before I did. She wouldn’t leave my side.
Then one day we had a fire that ended up destroying our house. It was
Murphy who alerted us to the fire by waking us up so that my family,
including Murphy, was able to get out unharmed.
We wanted to create a space that was specialized and had a permanent
feeling. Social media has a temporary nature where content is quickly
seen and discarded or forgotten. For Murphy With Love is a chance to
create a lasting memory of your beloved pets.
It’s hard to get over the loss of any pet, especially your first. I’m
glad to share the story of Murphy, as I’m looking forward to reading
about and sharing everyone else’s story.
